About

Honey Day is a bee costume used by Pooh in various media in Japan to celebrate "Honey Day", which is celebrated on August 3rd every year. "Honey Day"'s dating is a Japanese wordplay; the Japanese word for "honey" is "hachimitsu", "Hachi" is also used as the Japanese word for "8" (with August the 8th month of the year), and "mitsu" can also be used in cardinal numbering as "3rd" in Japanese.
