The Witch is a character from the 2012 Pixar film Brave.
The Witch is a mysterious magical individual who appears to those who wish to change their fate, usually lead by the Will 'o the Wisps to her door. In the distant past, she offered a spell to the prince of an Ancient Kingdom; it gave him the strength of ten men, but also lead to the destruction of the kingdom and the prince to be cursed to take the form of the demon bear Mor'du. After the incident, the Witch chose to instead focus in the creation of various bear-themed woodcarvings and pass herself off as a "woodcutter" until Merida is eventually lead to her due to her problem with her mother; the princess of Dunbroch tricking the Witch to provide a similar fate-changing spell despite the potential consequences of her action.
