About
Hell Hall, also known as "The De Vil Place", is the former manor home and the evil lair of Cruella De Vil, most notable for its appearance in the 1961 Disney animated feature film, 101 Dalmatians.
Located in Suffolk, England, The De Vil Place was originally going to be a castle and was built in 1898, later abandoned in 1920; however, this never came to fruition when the first De Vil went insane and vanished. The house got its name from many chaotic parties. Cruella took up residence here with her henchmen, Jasper and Horace. The ninety-nine puppies kidnapped by Cruella were all taken here and watched over by Jasper and Horace to kill them and turn them into a fur coat. The evil plan was discovered by an old sheepdog named "The Colonel" who, with his battalion of animals and the assistance of Pongo and Perdita, freed all of the puppies.
