About
Stitch's Great Escape! was a "theater-in-the-round" attraction located at Tomorrowland in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. A replacement of the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, SGE! was set up as a prequel to the 2002 animated film Lilo & Stitch, featuring Stitch's first run-in with the United Galactic Federation.
Stitch's Great Escape! is one of the few attractions to be added to Disney Magic Kingdoms after its real life counterpart had already closed, although this was not official at the time of the attraction's addition to the game.
Sergeant C4703BK2704-90210 appears as a non-playable character within this attraction. Additionally, the alien Skippy appears silhouetted in the teleportation tubes on either side of the entrance.
Trivia
Despite being in-game since Lilo & Stitch Event Update on 18th April 2018, players that didn't have Stitch's Great Escape couldn't see this attraction in the Shop until Pinocchio Event Update on 14th December 2021.- The XP () rewards changed from 23 to 12 with DuckTales, Enchantments Update on 2nd July 2019.
- Stitch's Great Escape was added to the Legendary Chests since The Little Mermaid Event Update on 5th September 2018.
- Players were able to purchase Stitch's Great Escape as part of the "Jumba Bundle" during A Stitch-y Situation Event 2018.
