About
The Shadow Spirits are major antagonists in Disney's 2009 animated feature film, The Princess and the Frog.
A legion of black shadows who were bestowed upon Dr. Facilier to serve as henchmen in the fields, with an order to capture Prince Naveen, and prevent others from foiling their plot. They can only be defeated by enchanted light, which is shown when they faced Mama Odie and Ray.
Objectives
Shadow Spirits have been spotted all over the Kingdom!
Shadow Spirits have been unleashed throughout the Kingdom! Certain characters are able to defeat the Shadow Spirits.
Collect Tokens and Select a Hero to Defeat them!
Lantern and Lotus Candle tokens are required in order for a character to defeat the Shadow Spirits. These tokens can be earned by completing activities.
Complete the quest to weaken Dr. Facilier!
Defeating the Shadow Spirits is required to complete quests and progress through the event's storyline.
Quests
Shadow Spirits can be banished by Charlotte La Bouff, Prince Naveen, and Mama Odie once the quest Light 'Em Up! is unlocked and once the Shade, Shade, Go Away quest is unlocked, by using the Lantern (
) and Lotus Candle (
) tokens.
