Santa Claus is a character released with Ratatouille Part 2 Update on 8th October 2024, and is a part of the Nightmare Before Christmas character collection.
About[]
Santa Claus is a fictional depiction of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of children in the Christian religion used as a symbol for the Christmas holiday. While many versions of the character have been used in many Disney properties, the version used in Disney Magic Kingdoms is based on the character from the 1993 film "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas".
In this film, Santa Claus is the leader of Christmas Town, the holiday town representing the holiday of Christmas. However due to Jack Skellington's desire to make Christmas his holiday alongside Halloween, he orders Lock, Shock and Barrel, Halloween Town's best trick-or-treaters, to abduct him so that Jack could take his place delivering presents. Yet even with this humiliation, Santa is eventually given to the more chaotic Oogie Boogie, who wished to eliminate Santa instead of merely capturing him, leaving the fate of Christmas in jeopardy alongside Jack Skellington's own naive plans.
