R2-D2 is a character released with Star Wars Event Update on 17th December 2019, and is a part of the Star Wars character collection.

About

R2-D2 is a character in the Star Wars franchise created by George Lucas. Alongside C-3PO, he has appeared in every Star Wars movie except Solo: A Star Wars Story. At various points throughout the course of the films, R2 is a friend to C-3PO, Padmé Amidala, Anakin Skywalker, Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, BB-8, and Rey.

Trivia

Players were able to purchase R2-D2 in a bundle during the Main Storyline Walkthrough since Star Wars Event Update. Players needed to have progressed to the "Welcome a Protocol Droid" quest to receive the promotion.
