Mrs. Jumbo is a major character in Disney's 1941 animated film, Dumbo. She is the loving, protective mother of Dumbo.
The mother of the young big-eared elephant calf Dumbo, she is the only one who initially believes in and cares for her son as he adjusts to his new life in the circus. However, when Dumbo's torment between the audience and their fellow circus elephants becomes too much, she takes out her anger in a way that leads to her being locked away and out of reach even from her own son, leading Dumbo to work to prove himself while trying to keep his main familial connection.
