WELCOME NEW CHARACTERS FROM MULAN
For a limited time, you can welcome Yao, Ling, and Chien-Po to the Kingdom. But that's not all - we're also bringing back the Tung-Shao Toboggans attraction. Add this rag-tag trio and thrilling attraction to your park before they're gone!

LUNAR NEW YEAR COSTUMES ARE BACK
Celebrate the year of the dragon with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck as they once again dawn their beautifully festive Lunar and Lunar New Year – Hong Kong costumes.

CASCADING CRITTER EVENT - February 8th to February 14th
Enjoy 3 Tappers in 1! Wandering Firecrackers (), Cursed Crabs (), and Vine Cages () will soon be arriving in your Kingdom.

A Cascading Tapper Event runs 3 Tappers simultaneously! Put your tapping skills to the test, Kingdomers! Read on for some important, strategic information.

Wandering Firecrackers Stage:
No helper characters or attractions required. Simply tap them away, and wait for more to appear!

Spawn time:

• Up to seven (7) Wandering Firecrackers () every two (2) hours

Vine Cages Stage:

QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES[]

Photo Mode

• Capture and save special moments in your Park with the new photo mode feature! Enter Photo Mode by tapping on the camera icon located below the mail icon at the top right of the screen. The option will appear once you’ve completed the tutorial of the game. This feature is also available in Offline Mode.
• The Photo Mode button will be visible when viewing the Kingdom. The Photo Mode button will not be accessible on the following screens:
  • Character activity window
  • Any building info/production window
  • Quest objective window
  • Any shop
  • Edit mode
• The Photo Mode button will be visible but not tappable when viewing:
  • New Season information window
  • Any welcome screen or gift pop-up
  • "Ads Unavailable" pop-up
  • "Calendar Unavailable" pop-up
• When you tap on the Photo Mode button, any game UI will be temporarily hidden, including any notification icons above characters, buildings, and chests. Tapping on the screen or moving the camera will bring the UI back.
• In-Game Pop-Ups will also reactivate the UI. If the game is minimized while Photo Mode is active, it will still be active when returning to the game. The screenshots themselves can be taken with the built-in screenshot function on the device and will be stored on the device’s local storage.

Merlin Gathering Spell Improvements

• Merlin's Gathering Spell has been improved to collect rewards from repeatable activities from characters. Now, upon casting Merlin's Gathering Spell you will collect rewards from all characters’ base activities in addition to everything that is currently already collected by the spell.
• Activities that will not be automatically collected:
  • Quests
  • Boss Battles
  • Parades
• The gathering spell animation time has decreased to allow for a speedier reward-collecting process!

Activity Icons

• All activities that can be collected from using the Gathering Spell will be assigned a different color check mark to distinguish them from other activities:
  • Green check mark: Quests that are only collected manually
  • Blue check mark: Buildings and activities that are collected through the Gathering Spell
• If a character is inside a building, the quest completion icon takes priority over the magic icon on a building as follows:
  • A blue check mark on a building indicates that there is a Character Activity in the building that can be collected by the Gathering Spell
  • A green check mark on a building indicates that there is a Character Activity in the building that cannot be collected by the Gathering Spell

BALANCING CHANGES[]

Why do we rebalance the game? Disney Magic Kingdoms is a game with many interconnected systems. Since our initial launch, we have added a lot of new features and content, and each time we do this, it can significantly affect how these systems interact with each other. To ensure that the gameplay experience remains as intended, we are sometimes required to make balancing changes. Ultimately, rebalancing the game is necessary so that Disney Magic Kingdoms is fun and enjoyable for all. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
