Hello everyone!
Earlier today, Fandom released a minor design update to the VisualEditor, both the Visual Mode and the Source Mode (aka 2017 editor), to help simplify it and make it more intuitive. I recommend reading this blog for detailed information, but here are the short details.
Renamed some of the tools (e.g. "paragraph" is now "normal text")
Shuffled some icons around (e.g. the back and forward arrow buttons are now located on the far left rather than the middle)
Hid some less-essential tools from view to make the initial editor view less overwhelming in all its glory (the tools are still accessible in dropdown menus)
For the 2017 source mode: we removed the options available from the menu icon (those three stacked horizontal bars) -- If you want those back, you can customize your toolbar to access them from there)
For the 2017 source mode: we used the menu icon to replace the gear icon
The blog has some helpful pictures as well. And a reminder that you can switch your preferred editor in Special:Preferences ^^ Let me know if you have any comments, concerns, or constructive feedback! Happy editing! :D
Hey everyone,
Following a user's request, I modified the ItemLevel template. Now costumes are by default in image form like other items.
But don't worry, you just have to add "-x" after the item type ("CH"=Character, "CP"=Character Pose, "COS"=Costume, "BA"= Building Attraction or "PF"=Parade Float) to turn it into text.
Additionally in this new version, you can now add concessions (="BC") and decorations (="D") to your page.
If you have any questions or requests don't hesitate! ^^
Have a wonderful day,
Thomas
Hi guys! Wanted to quickly inform you about notifications being wonky again. They're apparently not ready for the new year either.
Yesterday, older notifications were missing and users were unable to click on them. Fortunately, new notifications are now going through. The bell icon is showing the wrong count until user gets a new notifications. Users still have no access to notifications that happened during the incident plus older notifications until a complete fix (which is being worked on). "Mark all as read" is still be wonky as well.
Thank you again for your patience as we look into this issue. With that being said, since I cannot see older messages from my holiday break, I'm afraid I am missing some so feel free to ping me again if I have not responded to your message! I will also be going through my message walls again to see if I missed any pokes there.
As always, feel free to reach out on Discord (vector_sigma) if needed since I'm permanently online :) Hope you guys had a great holiday season!
Hi all, I can't seem to get any Toy Story Quests. Things seemed to have just stopped progressing. I'm not sure what to do next. Space Mountain is still under the cloud.
Hi guys! Just wanted to give you all a quick update.
As some of you may have learned, notifications were broken from approximately 5 pm EST to 5 am earlier today. Web-notifications weren't be sent out properly, and then they weren't being removed afterwards. I'm happy to say that the issue is now resolved ^^ Thank you for your patience.
If any of you pinged me last night, feel free to poke me again! I'll be going through my message walls and checking manually. I was a bit busy extinguishing fires in Community Central last night (and it's finals week for me, rip).
As always, feel free to reach out on Discord (vector_sigma) if needed since I'm permanently online :)
Yes, I know this a Disney Wiki, but do you guys think it would be cool if Gameloft or another developer can use the same game engine for Disney Magic Kingdoms and make a similar game this time based on Universal Studios Theme Parks? Since they added Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and soon, the Muppets in the next update, in which all three I.P.s started out as non-Disney I.Ps. that have since been acquired by the Walt Disney Company, it got me thinking that they could do something for Universal theme parks as well. I mean, I would love to see a similar game that could include characters and I.P.s like E.T., Jaws, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park/World, Despicable Me, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, How To Train Your Dragon, Trolls, maybe franchises like Harry Potter and Super Mario, as long as they ask companies like Warner Bros. Discovery and Nintendo for permission to use the rights for those characters, of course. What do you guys think?
Hi guys! Got another short update for you.
The Thanks Extension was added to this wiki several months ago as part of the testing phase, and it seems to be going great! Now, the thanks extension is now available for all communities. Admins can toggle it on/off on the Admin Dashboard, just like message walls and blogs. A reminder that you can view all the logs for Thanks under Special:Log/thanks.
Thanks for being part of the testing phase! :D And I hope you enjoy the extension. Feel free to leave it on or turn it off.
Hi guys!
Just wanted to quickly share that the reported notifications feature is now live on all wikis! It is currently being rolled out so it may take a few hours for it to appear for everyone, but it is live!
What is this? Once enabled, every administrator and thread moderator will receive notifications if there are any reported discussion posts, message walls, or article comments. This is on a per-wiki basis, so you might have to toggle this if you're a mod on numerous wikis. It will only be one notification per wiki, even if there are multiple reports.
To enable/disable it, please go to your Preferences -> Notifications -> Web notifications for moderators.
I recommend checking out this blog post for additional information.
If you have any questions or bug reports, let me know! :D
After a month of voting, these are the poll results for film collections missing from the game that players want to see:
Walt Disney Animation Studios films from 1980s (and Tron)
• The Great Mouse Detective: 33%
• The Fox and the Hound & Oliver & Company: 26% each
• Tron: 15%
Walt Disney Animation Studios films from 2000s (before 2007, when the studio was still Walt Disney Feature Animation)
• Atlantis: The Lost Empire & Treasure Planet: 32% each
• Brother Bear & Home in the Range: 12% each
• Chicken Little: 8%
• Dinosaur: 4%
• Cars: 43%
• A Bug’s Life: 36%
• Elemental: 17%
• The Good Dinosaur: 0% 😳
Well, let's see if in 2024 some of the requests by popular demand will be fulfilled.

I like going through the quests and seeing references to other movies. This quest though has me stumped. The "candle" is obviously Lumiere, but I can't figure out who Gurgi is talking about in this quest when he said, "big badger holds belly when he chuckles". Is he talking about Friar Tuck or someone else?
Why am I still seeing Minnie tokens when I'm sending characters on jobs when she is at Max level 10? Is there something else these tokens can be used for?
Hello! Please tell me it’s possible to restart the game. I played it years ago and now I thought maybe I should start again. Is there any way I can start all over? I would love to have the storylines again. Thanks in advance. x
So I kinda want to build a model/diorama of the kingdom and the various attractions but before I do I need to figure out how big one of the squares in game would/ could/ should translate to I real life model dimensions. Anyone know the dimensions of the kingdom over all?
Hey everyone! A bit late to this announcement, but the Thanks Extension has been enabled on this wiki during the continued testing phase. You'll be seeing this extension in Recent Changes, and clicking the (thank) button will send the user a "thank you" notification for their edit. This can be disabled in your Preferences -> Notifications and uncheck "Someone thanks me for an edit I made".
If you come across any issues, please let me or the mods know. If things majorly break, let me know asap so I can pull the switch. And let me know what you think as well!
You can check out the thanks log for this wiki here, and you can read more about our technical updates here.
Hello everyone!
I remember there used to be a fanmade online database where you could register which characters or attractions you owned in the park. Does anyone remember how it was called or if it still exists?
Thanks <3
Is there anyone here who is from the Disney wiki because they blocked me because I thought that the owl house was from cartoon network and can you please unblock me it was a misunderstanding
